The Student Activities Department is synonymous with Campus Involvement. You can choose to participate in our many programs through attendance or you can get involved with planning or implementing an event. Student Activities also provides student employment opportunities that allow our students to earn extra spending money while learning valuable management skills. The Swain Student Activities Center (SAC) supplements it full time management staff with Student Manager On Duty (MOD) positions. Students are given the responsibility to open the facility and to manage the daily operations of the building on weekends. Full time staff is just a phone call away to assist as necessary.
The Red Barn has a long tradition of meeting student needs as a social outlet, gathering place, and friendly environment. The Red Barn is home to the Red Barn Programs Office, which provides one-on-one guidance with student groups hosting events on campus. It also coordinates the various Red Barn Endowment Programs, which provide monetary support for qualified students from donations through the Red Barn Alumni Association (RBAA).
