Journalist Jean West will speak on media and science journalism on Friday, April 11, 2008 at 3: 30 p.m. in the auditorium room JS 100, JB Speed Engineering Building. Ms. West will address how broadcast media report on science and ways scientists and engineers can better assure accurate reportage on their work.
Ms. West was a news anchor and medical reporter for WHAS television from 1985 to 2007 and currently does independent video production/consulting in Louisville.
