Seeing advertisments for the 8th grade dance on a college campus might puzzle many people. You may begin to wonder if it's some kind of charity dance to benefit 8th graders or the university is inviting all the local 8th graders over for a dance. Well as interesting as these ideas are.... they are misconceptions.

RSA's 8th Grade dance is just for us college folks. It's designed to take us back to our youth; back before all these stressful classes, life changing decsions, and even before we learned french kissing ment more than just kissing under the eiffle tower.

It takes us to the days when you heard "warhead" you thought of the candy and not a weapon.
-Back when someone said "hey grab your backpack" you instantly grabbed your LL Bean and slung it over one shoulder like all the cool kids.
-Back when you were convinced cooties were more fatal than cancer
-But most importantly back when music was... well...how can words say it... amazing, incredible, the best, divine??? I can't seem the find the right word. I think I should switch to a foriegn lanugage major, just so I can search for that perfect word to describe magnificent music of our 8th grade era.

Reguardless of what it is, all these jams and many many more are the epitome to any true 8th grade dance

On Nov 7th scientist have predicted a time portal to open up at the red barn precisly between 730 and 11. This time portal will go back to these days. It is predicted that beyond this portal- a dance will take place - playing nothing but this glorious music that english can't seem to define. So guys: get out your michael jordan jerseys, throw on your white t's with the classic un-buttoned down shirt on top of it. Girls: bust out those old grade school jumpers and plasic head bands you use to love so dearly and get ready to dance the night away.
I promise you a Great night with memories that will last a life time.

Picture a night when: You got an A on that big test, U of L beat uk in everything, Wil e Coyote finally caught the roadrunner, Michael Jordan teamed up with the looney tunes once again to defeat the monstars one last time, and curious george finally conquered his curiousity. Combine all this into one night. Okay got it pictured?????

SOME THINGS YOU SHOULD CONSIDER!!!!!!

1) If you live on campus you can arrange a golf cart driven by some of our universities finest students to chauffeur you to the dance. Just send me a message if interested.

2) Remember cooties are real. so dance at ATLEAST arm's length apart while dancing with members of the opposite sex. Chaperone's will be there to remind those who are forgetful......... Just kidding it's still college

3) Warheads are extremly sour.... eat at own risk. Consider this your warning.

4) Dunkaroos were and still are the best snack ever

5) Hair spray and cologne will be provided for you guys or gals that are tryin to impress that special someone

6) Energy drinks........ why wouldn't you get one, we provide them

7) T shirts will be awarded to best dressed, best dancers, and most enthusasitic ppl

8) IF YOU HAVE ANY PICTURES FROM THE 8th GRADE. UPLOAD THEM TO THIS GROUP. You'll find a fun surprise if you do!!!!

9) Oh yea I almost forgot! The Candy, the snacks, the drinks, and the memories.... IT'S ALLL FREEEEEE!!!!!!!!
