Have your (or anyone you know) ever wondered about pursuing a career in public service?  Do you know of the benefits of an MPA degree for careers in public, nonprofit, political, and even business organizations? Do you know what it takes to be a successful leader in these organizations?

The Metropolitan Louisville American Society for Public Administration Association (Metro Louisville ASPA) in partnership with UofL's Department of Urban and Public Affairs is hosting a roundtable panel event on "MPA Careers" that aims to provide answers to these questions.  The event will be held on Thursday, March 29th at 5:30-7pm at the University of Louisville in the Ekstrom Library's Chao Auditorium

The panel members will include:

  • Jana Goemmer, House Manager, Ronald McDonald House of Louisville

  • Angela Champion, Executive Director, Colon Cancer Prevention Project

  • Amy Shir, Director of Economic Development, Institute for Social and Economic Development, and 48th District State Representative Candidate
