The Meredith Case: the Lawyers' Perspectives
Last year the Supreme Court found Jefferson County Public Schools' school assignment plan unconstitutional due to its use of race. Was this a setback for school desegregation? A victory for color-blindness? Ted Gordon and Byron Leet, attorneys representing opposing sides of this case, will speak and answer questions in Ekstrom Library Chao Auditorium Wed. 2/20 at 3:00 p.m.
