Dr. Joyce M. Jackson, (Dept. of Geography and Anthropology, Louisiana State University)will be the second lecturer in the Women's and Gender Studies Annual Fall Lecture Series on Gender, Religion and spirituality. Dr. Jackson, an expert on African influences on music in the diaspora, will speak on "African Diasporic Ritual Performance/Easter Rock." The lecture is in Belknap Research Building (Room 139). It is free and open to the public.
