Emily Robinson has won the undergraduate
Maddox Prize for "The Renaissance Midwife: From Benevolent Healer to
Malicious Witch." Amber G. Duke has won the graduate prize for "Black
Female Journalists: Negotiating Racism, Classism and Sexism in the
Newsroom and in the Field." Robinson and Duke will give presentations
based on their essays on Thursday, March 20 at 1:00 in Hum 300. This
event is free and open to the public.
