Club Programming monies are intended to afford recognized student organizations the opportunity to contribute to the quality of campus life by sponsoring special events and programs that may not be possible without this financial assistance.  CPC funding was made possible through support provided by the Vice President for Student Affairs, the Student Government Association and the Dean of Students.  All Club Programming funding is considered a one-time allocation for a single and limited purpose.  The requesting organizations were required to be a Recognized Student Organization (RSO) in good standing.

This initiative was an opportunity for organizations to receive funding for the spring 2008 semester.  The Dean of Students and the SGA President each appointed four individuals to serve on the CPC.   The members of the CPC (6 students, 2 staff) spent many hours reviewing the spring 2008 applications.  CPC was delighted by the large number of requests and the quality of RSO programs.  We received 56 applications with many innovative ideas totaling over $113,000 in requested funding.  CPC would like to fully fund each event that met our criteria.  However, due to the amount of funding available, we were only able to partially fund some events.  The Club Programming Committee believes that the funded events will help inspire a vibrant campus life and an engaged student body.  The following events were funded by the CPC for the spring 2008 semester.
